The Minneota Library is located in the former Big Store — a historic landmark in our city. The Big Store — called that because in its early history it was the largest store between Watertown, SD and Mankato, MN — was lovingly refurbished to house Minneota’s library and has done so since 2015. All our visitors are enchanted by our space in this beautiful old building. 

The library provides many books and DVDs for checkout. We provide programming for adults and children throughout the year. There is ample room in a comfortable setting for reading the newspapers and magazines that are available. We have a total of five computers for customer use and also free WiFi. Our archive room is home to the many years of the town’s newspaper, the Minneota Mascot. We have a meeting room available to be reserved for use by our patrons.
